Gail sent the following email to Brian O'Grady:
I am working for the American Cancer Society and am looking for Team Leaders for our breast cancer walk on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011.
I was hoping you might be able to get an email blast out to all Carter alumni to see if they might want to get a team together.
T-shirts are available to buy with free logos so we could even put Carter alum on the backs. What do you think?
If we cannot do the Carter team, there may be people out there who have a personal interest in breast cancer (self, relative,
friend, neighbor, etc) and would be willing to get involved. Feel free to get my work info out there.
The walk is at the Woodbridge Mall, Woodbridge, NJ. This walk covers Middlesex and Mercer Counties.
I have a full packet of information I can mail out but need to get some interest first. Thanks in advance!!!
My work information is:

The attendance at our Spring and Fall 2010 luncheons has fallen dramatically. We had 10 in the Spring and 11
this past Thursday. The e-mail list contains 73 people and the call list had 24 now 20 (4-recently disconnected).
Based on the data "The Time Has Come", there will be NO MORE CWI Alumni Retiree luncheons.
While Bill and I have enjoyed our tenure as the groups Coordinators it is truly time to cease the effort.
We thank each and every one of you for the opportunity to have worked with, amongst and around you.
And, to have continued our "CWI Family Life" in retirement.
We hope that those who have e-mail will continue to keep in touch from time-to-time.

Hi Nancy,
My mother, Saundra Lazar worked in the New York City office over 20 years ago as a product
manager for the Answer Home Pregnancy Test and other products. She suddenly passed away in
1987, and my sister, brother, and I never took the opportunity to thank those who reached
out to us during our time of mourning. Please let those who worked with her know that
her children are all doing well, and are grateful for the blessings of life, love, and family.
